BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Jean Pisano joined the firm in 1998 and is a member of the firm's transactional
department. Ms. Pisano has experience with real property acquisitions and sales,
financing and leasing, including the acquisition, financing, development and
disposition of office, commercial, multifamily housing, undeveloped land, low
and moderate income housing projects, and mixed use projects. Her areas of practice
include partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies and general
business transactions.
PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
Ms. Pisano is a member of the State Bar of California (Real Property Law Section),
American Bar Association (Young Lawyers Division) and Los Angeles County Bar
Association.
AUTHORSHIPS
Ms. Pisano published, Comment, "Copyright Infringement: A Proposal for a New
Standard for Substantial Similarity," 45:6 UCLA L. Rev. (1998).
EDUCATION
Ms. Pisano graduated from UCLA School of Law in 1998, where she served as comments
editor for the UCLA Law Review. Ms. Pisano graduated cum laude from
the University of California at Irvine in 1994 with a B.A. degree in Political
Science.
