Speaking Engagements
Tony Canzoneri and J. Patrick Galvin, Corporate Counsel CPG for LNR
Property Corporation, Newport Beach, will co-chair a one day seminar, "Distressed
Real Estate Acquisition, Development and Operating Assets: Defaults, Work Outs
and Optimizing Opportunities" on September 18, 2008 in Los Angeles.
Sponsored by Law Seminars International, and intended for attorneys, real
estate professionals, investors, lenders, owners and asset managers, this workshop
will present legal and practical issues from the view points of attorneys and
real estate professionals representing investors, lenders, developers, fund
advisors and assets managers in how best to deal with their competing and mutual
interests in distressed real estate situations. The program will discuss defaults
and workouts for a range of transactions including land sales and financings,
single and multi phased development projects under construction, purchase,
sales and financings of operating assets and portfolios and public/private
partnerships. The program will also draw on lessons learned during the downturns
of the mid 70's, early 80's and early 90's, reevaluated in the context of today's
complex financial markets, including the challenges associated with conduit
loans and participated agented credit facilities.

-- was a panelist at the Minority Business Enterprise Growth Summit on Tuesday,
November 14, 2006, DoubleTree Club Hotel, 1515 Hotel Circle South, San Diego.
The Summit was presented by The California Black Chamber of Commerce, The California
Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, The Asian Business Association, and The Greater
San Diego Business Development Council. Conference topics were How to Win a
corporate Contract, Partnering for Growth, and Raising Capital to Fund Business
Growth. Featured speaker was Ruben R. Garcia, District Director of the United

Mark Steres Speaks Up On Impact of Ninth Circuit's Wireless Ruling

Steres, City Attorney for the City of La Canada Flintridge, joined a panel
at the March 2006 Chapter meeting of SCAN NATOA (States of California and Nevada
Chapter of the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors)
to review and discuss the impact of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals decision
in Sprint PCS v. City of La Canada Flintridge, including the aesthetic concerns.

Pasadena on the Gold Line--Tony Canzoneri Moderates

Canzoneri moderated, with Pasadena's Planning
Director, Richard Bruckner, the "All Aboard: A Track Through Time from
Chinatown to Old Pasadena" mobile tour. Featured speakers were Larry Bond
on his redevelopment project in Chinatown; Allan Kotin (Allan D. Kotin & Associates),
Stephanie De Wolfe, Pasadena's Deputy Director of Planning and Development
and Senior Project Manager, John Andrews, on Old Pasadena; Dave Watkins, South
Pasadena Planning Director on South Pasadena; and Linda Dishman of the Los
Angeles Conservancy discussed the tour's final stop--Union Station.
Tony Canzoneri Moderates Panel on Mixed-Use at CRA Legal Issues Symposium

Canzoneri moderated a panel at the California Redevelopment Association's
Legal Issue Symposium on the topic of "Implementation of Mixed-Use Projects
-- The Devil Is In The Details: Optimizing Market Feasibility and Public Fiscal
Balance." Joining Mr. Canzoneri on the panel was co-moderator Cal Hollis,
Keyser Marston Associates; Ken Calegari, Champion Development Group; Cliff
Goldstein, J.H. Snyder Company; Ric Kern, LNR Property Corporation. The panel
discussed implementation of mixed-use projects from the moment the entitlement
application is prepared through final approval and creation of the legal documents
that will govern the use of the project. Discussions presented the perspective
of real life projects from the developers, attorney and financial consultant.
California Redevelopment Association Annual Conference & EXPO

Canzoneri moderated a panel discussion on "The Missing Link Between
Housing and Retail: Recreating Lost Villages from the Urban Core to Suburbia".
The panel was presented by the ICSC Alliance and featured speakers Larry Bond
of The Bond Companies, Steve Coyne of Lennar Partners and Randall Lewis of
Lewis Operating Corporation. Mr. Canzoneri's law practice encompasses all aspects
of real estate development including land

Valley Water District/AWWARF Water Quality Conference

Land was a panelist at the Water Quality Conference held at the Doubletree
Hotel, Ontario, CA. Ms. Land participated on a panel focusing on the litigation
surrounding the South El Monte Operable Unit. Ms. Land has handled matters
involving environmental issues
including CERCLA.

CRA's 2002 Money, Debt and Taxes Conference

Canzoneri was a panelist in this year's conference, held July 17-18, speaking
on how to "Reduce Subsidies and Attract Development." The panel explored
the newest methods in approaching and solving financial gaps in redevelopment
projects and examined the context in which these gaps are occurring.
CRA Redevelopment Institute 2002
May 2002- Vicki Land chaired
Property Acquisition and Relocation sessions at the California Redevelopment
Association's Redevelopment Institute on May 9 and 10. The Institute is part
of an expansive CRA workshop providing in-depth, hands-on technical and advanced
training to redevelopment practitioners.
